- Copyright - What must we consider with regards to copyright law now that so much is so easily accessible to so many? In my previous blog entry, I had fun adding a caption to a picture featuring Captain Jack Sparrow. What are the copyright issues around using a picture like this either on a library web site or as part of a library blog?
- Comments - Our blog sites allow us to post comments to each others' blogs. Is there a way to invite and moderate comments posted to library blogs? Hoping there is a way to invite public participation without creating a venue for the general public to post questionable content on library blogs through the use of comment field.
- Permissions - What is the etiquette regarding including links on your blog? In my earlier blog entry, I included a link to the Region of Waterloo Library web site as an example of how libraries use geotagging with photos. Should links to other sites be included only after obtaining permission to link?

In regards to moderation, all library blogs should have the "moderate comment" option turned on (for obvious reasons). Comments are submitted by the patron and forwarded to the blog administrator for approval. Only after approval are comments posted. If people know that comment threads are being moderated, they seem to post more quality content. And it something slips by, it can always be deleted!
hey Sheryl
I'm trying to add myself as a loyal follower to your blog. Call me blind (I dare you) but I can't find where I can do that in your blogosphere.
If I'm missing something, let me know! Yvonne (aka lostin(cyber)space)
